The Pledge: Virtual Careers Festival

Fantastic news! The Pledge are launching their first ever Virtual Careers Festival for Cheshire at 11am on Tuesday 19 May (running until Friday 22 May) and if you’re an employer or STEM ambassador, you can help!

The aim of the festival is to give 14-18 year olds an opportunity to learn about a broad range of career options directly from employers and business owners.

“Due to lockdown we are making the most of some fantastic virtual technology we have available to us so with the help of Learn Live UK, we would like to invite you to take part!

This event will last between 30 – 90 minutes, so no need to join us for an all-day careers event!”

If you would like to take part, please complete the form below by 5pm on Thursday:

4 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE (you can choose as many as you like)

Paving the Way Festival Employers Form

  1. Create a five minute “Day in the Life” video (this can be self-made or with the help of Learn Live)
  2. Take part in a Q&A about your industry
  3. Lead a careers related activity e.g. interview skills, CV workshop, resilience training etc
  4. Offer an opportunity to “WIN” work experience with you, either after lockdown or as a virtual project

For more information or to discuss any aspect of the Festival, please call Liz Parkin on 07886 633 370 or [email protected]
