CREST Awards: Teacher Views & Getting Started Guides
As your North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, we love to hear from teachers across the region who are excited about CREST!
Getting started is easy with CREST’s comprehensive Teacher Guides and we’re here to support you throughout and cheer you on. Learners aged 5-19 can take on the roles of scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to pursue their own ideas. Get involved and you could be next to tweet @CRESTAwards & @CRESTNorthWest your amazing projects and progress:
“Children in Prep were delighted to receive their Crest Awards at Superstar Level. In Prep Science Club, they completed a range of exciting projects from making ice cream, testing jelly and fun with Skittles! CREST is part of a National Scheme and is run throughout our School.”
Birkenhead School
“Today, our Year 7’s took part in the CREST Discovery day with All About STEM. They learned how to develop STEM skills and explored the important role that STEM will play in our future.”

About CREST Awards
The CREST Awards scheme is the British Science Association’s flagship programme for young people, providing a flexible STEM project framework that inspires and engages 5 to 19 year olds.
No CREST project is identical. Even when set the same brief, students produce unique, creative solutions and ideas to tackle the problem – inspiration & innovation!
Resources are bright, fun, simple to use and offer step-by-step guidance.

As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
