CREST: SEND Bronze Award
CREST has created a fantastic Bronze Award SEND resource.
The ‘Pizza Box Project‘ allows students to work like scientists, designers and engineers as they learn about packaging construction to design and make their own strong pizza boxes and put them to the test.
“During the project, there’s the option to make a pizza template to check box size or make and use a real pizza – DELICIOUS!”
Resources include a presentation, student workbook, teacher/mentor guide and Widget resource pack. You can download them all here.
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
