CREST Awards: Supporting the Curriculum
CREST Awards & The British Science Association offer comprehensive guides which map primary & secondary CREST projects with the curriculum.
Primary CREST & the Curriculum
CREST projects inspire young people to think and behave like scientists and engineers. This booklet has been designed to help primary teachers use the CREST Star and SuperStar activities as part of their teaching. Within the resource, you will find a list of relevant activities mapped against some of the themes and content topics in the primary curricula. All activities are free to download from the CREST resource library.
Secondary CREST & the Curriculum
With this fantastic mapping tool, you can build practical CREST projects into the science curriculum!
This guidance pack was designed to explain how to embed open-ended extended investigative work within curriculum time using the experience from 10 pilot secondary schools.
Empower your students to run their own investigation!
Doing DofE in school? You can use CREST for the Skills Section!
More about CREST Awards
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
