Digital Sector Parent & Carer Information Session
Cheshire and Warrington Careers Hub
On behalf of the Cheshire and Warrington Careers Hub, as part of the Pledge Partnership, we are delighted to be hosting this online session aimed at helping parents and carers to find out about the opportunities available for their young person within the digital sector.
Join us online on Thursday 14 November 2024 at 6pm when we’ll be looking at what we mean by ‘digital’ and ‘digital life skills’. We’ll also introduce the different pathways into digital careers including apprenticeships, technical and higher education routes as well as touching on the opportunities available for adult learners through the Skills Boot Camps.
The Cheshire & Warrington Pledge Partnership
These online sessions are provided by the Cheshire and Warrington Careers Hub and funded by the Careers & Enterprise Company. The Careers Hub is part of the Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership, a network of over 500 employers, all local state-funded secondary schools and colleges and multiple community groups. This partnership is supported by all three Local Authorities, The Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership, Youth Federation and a number of local funders.
All About STEM is making it happen across the North West. We work on lots of different projects to bring exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to schools across the region, linking them with business and industry expert volunteers inspiring the next generation of STEM specialists.
