Clean Air Day 2025: CREST Resources
It’s Clean Air Day on June 19th 2025!
Clean Air Day is an opportunity for learners to find out more about air pollution, learn about green careers and discover how to help make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone.
The day focuses on:
– Air pollution
– Improving public understanding and increasing air pollution-busting behaviours
– Showcasing that a cleaner air future is possible and desirable
– Demonstrating large-scale support for clean air
If you’re looking for an activity to encourage your students to get involved on the big day, CREST offers a Bronze Award that investigates air pollution. Your students can examine pollution levels by sampling rainwater and find out about the causes of pollution in their local area.
CREST Bronze Awards are 10-hour projects aimed at learners aged 11+.
Teams of students can experience what it is like to be scientists or engineers as they design their own investigations, record their findings, and reflect on their learning.

As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM (All About Futures) promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
