Are you looking for an INTERACTIVE, INSPIRING and FREE career session for your pupils?

For the second year running, undergraduates at Vauxhall Ellesmere Port have created a manufacturing activity day for students aged 9-18 in the local area.

“We aim to promote the growing opportunities in automotive manufacturing while inspiring young people through an interactive approach that everyone can enjoy”

 

What do we provide?

• An engaging presentation with videos and games that explain the importance of manufacturing for the British economy and the diverse career opportunities involved.
• A challenging and hands on activity for students, in which each team must mimic a production line to earn the most profit. The winning team from each school is presented with a Vauxhall award and is entered in an inter-school competition to win a signed under 21s England shirt.
• Each child receives a goody bag from Vauxhall with merchandise and extra careers information to take home.
• The session is FREE; all we ask for is feedback in return.
• Currently we are only visiting schools in the local areas; North East Wales, Wirral, Cheshire and Liverpool.
• Session time can be adjusted to school requirements; usual time is 1.5 – 3 hours.
• The minimum we can accommodate for is 15 students.
