Engineering Your Future (Warrington) – Book Now!
Following the success of Engineering Your Future Liverpool we’ve added an additional date in Warrington for Cheshire students – book now!
What is Engineering Your Future?
Now in its fourteenth year in London and its eighth year here in the North West, Engineering Your Future has become a key date in the diary of North West Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges. This series of one day career events has been established to provide an opportunity for attendees to see that engineering is a career worth pursuing, and help them make an informed choice.

Who should attend?
This informative and hands-on event is aimed at students between 17-18 years old who are studying science, maths or engineering at GNVQ or A-Level, together with their STEM subject teachers.
What happens on the day?
The day is split into 5 sessions providing insights into Mechanical, Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Chemical and Nuclear Engineering; each of which lasts approximately 40 minutes. Attendees will be split into five groups and each allocated a mentor Engineer for the day. They will learn about the specific areas of engineering from the companies and organisations invited, along with a lunchtime marketplace o ffering more information on ‘Routes into Engineering’. The sessions are designed to be practical and interactive and provide an insight into life as a professional Engineer or Technician.
There will also be a separate STEM teacher session to outline all the various routes into the engineering profession, the extensive resources available from the Professional Engineering Institutions & Societies, and the role of STEM Ambassadors in enthusing students of all ages. This has also been extremely well received.

Students and teachers will bene fit by increasing their awareness of the very broad scope o ffered by a career in engineering; the various routes into engineering; what they can expect and whatit entails. All the presenters will be quali fied and experienced Engineers and Technicians.
