Bots & Blogging at The Big Bang Barrow!
An amazing time was had by all at Furness College for The Big Bang Barrow courtesy of MerseySTEM partner STEM Cumbria.
As well as all manner of hands-on interactive STEM activities, attendees had the opportunity to meet the Centrica Energy Robot and try their hand at journalism by live blogging the event themselves!
Oscar the bot was a highlight for many, though the young people attending posted their reviews thick and fast… there were so many things they enjoyed.
“It’s great to be at The Big Bang Fair. It’s good to learn about science and engineering. We have enjoyed the sonar test challenge, food technology, and virtual welding!”
