Engineers on Film: Inspire the next generation!

Would you like to inspire the next generation of engineers?

The Royal Academy of Engineering and The University of Central Lancashire are creating short videos of real engineers to show young people the varied and interesting career paths in the field.

As part of a Royal Academy of Engineering-funded project,  these case study videos will be shown during 3D-printing and engineering workshops with young people aged 11-14 years. They will also be uploaded onto Youtube to act as an online resource.

Contributions are welcome from all fields of engineering, not just 3D printing and free public engagement and science communication training is available for all who would like to be involved.

The training and filming will take place at UCLan (Preston) and the dates are:

Monday 13th July 1-5pm

Lunch will be provided and reasonable travel expenses covered.
