OCR’s KS3 STEM Project – a project based learning approach
Oxford Cambridge and RSA’s KS4 STEM qualifications are now supported by a free online resource, the OCR STEM Project.
The resource will guide you and your students through a range of projects based around real world challenges. Each challenge will develop learners’ problem solving skills and demonstrate links between STEM studies and future careers. The projects are mapped to OCR’s GCSE and Cambridge National specifications in STEM subjects. In addition to the multimedia resources provided by OCR, each project includes links to high quality third party resources.
The projects enhance learning by developing the soft skills that Higher Education and employers are looking for. The web-based projects allow classroom or homework based delivery, are student friendly and support you in delivering STEM subjects.
