Critical Paths: Powering a new generation – get involved!
The nuclear industry has an important role to play in helping the world to meet its energy challenges. However, at present, young people seem to have limited knowledge of the nuclear industry and the vast range of job opportunities that it offers.
Developed by young people working in the nuclear sector, for school pupils (aged 11-14), Critical Paths is a set of electronic resources for use in schools by teachers and volunteers.
The materials bring real-life issues relating to energy and the nuclear industry into the classroom through presentations, activities and homework challenges. Supported by the nuclear industry and tested in schools the resources are free to download here. Each resource includes an introduction sheet enabling anyone to pick up and use the resources with ease.
