MerseySTEM partnering Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach
On Wednesday the 23rd of September, MerseySTEM will be attending the Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach (MNCO) Launch Event. As a partner organisation, we’ll be there to inspire all about STEM, facilitate future events and provide information on all of our free STEM services.
The Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach (MNCO). MNCO is a collaborative partnership between the Higher Education Institutions and Further Education Colleges located in Greater Merseyside.
The aim of the network is to provide schools and colleges with a Single Point of Contact to support teachers and stakeholders in accessing information about outreach and widening participation activities offered by the partner institutions involved in the network.
The evening features presentations on the work of the network from MNCO Manager, a presentation on the Liverpool Learning Partnership and an overview of educational developments in the Liverpool City Region from Deputy Mayor, Nick Small.
All attendees will have the opportunity to network with colleagues from each of the MNCO partner institutions and also from a number of external partner organisations including MerseySTEM, Barnardo’s Liverpool, Liverpool Schools Parliament, National Careers Service, National Citizen Service, National Network for Education of Care Leavers (NNECL), Student Loans Company and UniTasterDays.
