PA Raspberry Pi Competition – Register Now!

PA Knowledge is running its fourth Raspberry Pi programming competition.  Years 4 – 13 can now register their interest. The winners of each category will receive £1000!

Following the great success of the competition last year, which saw winning innovations range from an automatic prescription dispenser to a robot dog that aims to encourage children to exercise, PA are now challenging entrants to use the Raspberry Pi to drive innovation in sport and leisure.

In terms of the competition itself, once registered, teams have until the 26th February 2016 to submit their projects. To create their projects, teams of up to seven students can use a Raspberry Pi computer, additional hardware up to the value of £100 and any software modules available as source code. The first 100 teams to enter the competition will be provided with a starter kit of equipment worth £75, which includes a Raspberry Pi computer.
