World Museum: Destination Space Programme KS1
World Museum has joined forces with the UK and European Space Agencies to run a fantastic education programme celebrating British astronaut Tim Peake’s, mission to space. Tim Peake launched off to the International Space Station on 15 December 2015. A key aim of his six month mission is to inspire a new generation of space scientists through the Destination Space education programme.
Through these unique and stimulating workshops pupils will learn about the wonders of space flight and the talented team of experts that make travelling and living in space possible. The workshops focus on inspiring curiosity and an interest to continue to explore the marvels of modern day science and technology.
The key stage 1 workshop is available on the following dates at 10.15am, 11.30am or 1.15pm:
- 29, 30, 31 March
- 1 April
- 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 May
- 27, 28, 29 30 June
- 1 July
