The Big Bang North West 2016: 3D Printing with FLP Solutions

1. The International Space Station’s 3-D printer completed the first phase of a NASA technology demonstration by printing a tool with a design file transmitted from the ground to the ISS printer. The tool was a ratchet wrench.
2. Doctors can now create 3D models of brain tumours so the patient can better understand their condition
3. For the recently revealed 2017 GT, Ford designers used a series of 3D prototypes to refine and perfect the square-shaped F1-style steering wheel. These prototypes included integrated transmission paddle-shift and driver controls.
