The Big Bang North West 2016: Farm Urban – Living Labs & Produce Pods!
We are delighted to announce that Farm Urban will be returning to The Big Bang North West 2016!
Farm Urban are a social enterprise who use aquaponics and open source technologies to engage and inspire people to connect with their environment and explore their relationship with food.
Their stand will feature the Produce Pod: an open-source aquaponics system that is a permanent and embedded living lab which continues to reinforce STEM principles by inviting student engagement. Eco-friendly and fun!
Farm Urban Fab Facts:
* Did you know aquaponics uses fish poo to grow plants!
* Discover how to grow plants indoors and without any soil.
* Use cutting-edge technology and programming to control the system.
