Big Bang North West 2019: Create an Epic Platform Game with Code Club!
Awesome news – Code Club will be returning as an exhibitor at The Big Bang North West 2019!
Code Club’s activities are immensely popular year after year and not to be missed: “Come and have-a-go at a range of our Code Club projects. Find out who is quicker students or teachers, test your memory and reactions, help co-create an epic platform game and see how you can set up a Code Club at school to carry on making in a club of your own.”
“Code Club aims to give every child the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from! Founded in 2012, we work with teachers, businesses and parents to develop a network of volunteer-led free after-school clubs. Code Club works to give children aged 9-13 an outlet to build and share their ideas, so they can learn to engage actively in creating technology, rather than just being passive consumers.”
“We provide project materials and a volunteering framework to support Code Clubs across the UK and in 80 countries around the world, so you don’t need to be a coding expert to run a club. Our projects are step by step guides, which provide structured and fun content for your clubs.”
