The Pledge: Video – Career Support & Guidance from Employers
The Pledge Partnership at Cheshire and Warrington LEP has teamed up with Learn Live and a host of Cheshire and Warrington based employers, universities, colleges and training providers to help young people to access career support and guidance whilst in the lockdown period.
Aimed at 11-18 year olds, the sessions will feature employers talking about careers in their industry, as well as providing advice on how to develop the skills that employers are looking for during lockdown. There will also be sessions on how to undertake a successful online interview and a discussion on progression to FE and University.
All of the sessions are free to view and will be led by local business or education professionals. Each presenter will also set a challenge for participants to complete, so they will be able to go away and develop their employability skills further.
Videos will remain on the site for 12 months and questions can be submitted after broadcast.
