Health Careers LIVE: Virtual Health Careers Conference

Join the Virtual Health Careers Conference on the 25th July 2020. Registration is FREE!
The event covers a range of topics including:
– application process
– finding work experience and volunteering
– writing your personal statement
– preparing for the UCAT and BMAT
– interview preparation
Sessions are suitable for students of all ages and there will be over 60 keynote speeches and workshops.
The programme is free of charge for aspiring medics and healthcare professionals to register, as well as all staff members and
parents/guardians.
2017 saw the first National Health Careers Conference take place in Manchester, showcasing a range of careers in medicine and health.
The event included keynotes, clinical skills zones, 30+ workshops and exhibitions from over 20 major organisations including the General Medical
Council, Royal Colleges, the British Medical Journal as well as universities such as Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), Cardiff, Swansea, Bristol and Bradford.
This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Virtual Health Careers
Conference is virtual so everyone can attend in advance of the National Health e Conference taking place in November 2020.
25th July 2020 will see unique additions to the programme including:
● NHS England, Health Education England, GMC, Royal Colleges
● Over 15 Universities delivering workshops
● A new health careers live keynote stage
● Interactive Exhibition – your chance to speak to admission tutors and
representatives
● General Medical Council workshops
● New research, digital health and innovation tracks.
● Dedicated programme for current medical & healthcare students, trainees & professionals.
● Launch of awards which school/college students and teachers can be nominated for!
● VHCC Waiting Room – Enter the Mentoring and Networking Hub
● VHCC Disco – A chance to reflect and have fun at the end of the conference!
The Virtual National Health Careers Conference 2020 is expected to be the UK’s largest event for aspiring healthcare professionals.
