Careers & Enterprise Company: Careers Leader Courses
Are you a Careers Leader looking to learn new skills?
The Careers & Enterprise Company offer courses to help Careers Leaders understand their role and develop the skills required to help strategically embed a careers programme in their school or college.
- 99% of Careers Leaders reported that they were able to review and evaluate their school/colleges careers programme after they had participated in the course, compared with 74 per cent prior to the training.
- 96% of participants either agreed or strongly agreed that the training had helped them to identify action to improve their practice.
Following an initial 1,300 training places taken up, there are now 650 additional places available.

What to expect
- You can gain access to a qualification (up to level 7)
- You will be able to choose a programme that suits your time commitment
- There are both non-accredited and accredited programmes available
- You will be able to find a programme that’s local to you
- There are a variety of programmes which cover different development areas of the Careers Leader role
- There will be the opportunity to meet and network with other Careers Leaders
- Upon completion of the course, your school or college will be awarded a £1,000 bursary to cover any costs incurred attending the training
All About STEM (All About Futures) is partnering with the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, Career Connect, Sefton EBP, St Helens Chamber, Shaping Futures, Wirral Chamber and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to deliver the Careers and Enterprise Company’s Enterprise Adviser Network across the Liverpool City Region.
The Enterprise Adviser Network is a national network that looks to connect schools and colleges with employers and careers program providers, to create meaningful encounters for pupils with the world of work.
