CREST: Summer Clubs – Primary Activities
CREST Star and Superstar awards are fantastic activities for Summer Clubs! Projects are hands-on, fun and many require little equipment.
CREST is a STEM enrichment programme for young people that inspires, enables and rewards open-ended project work. You can give young people the chance to think and behave like real-life scientists and engineers.
Star Awards are typically completed by 5-7 year olds, CREST Star challenges relate to children’s experiences. You don’t need to be a teacher, have a science background or have access to specialist equipment to run Star activities.
Superstar Awards are recommended for children aged 7-11 years and are presented as a collection of one hour activities. To receive an award children complete eight challenges.

As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
