Careers Fair: Careers in Climate Change

During COP26, 1st – 12th November, the STEM Ambassador and Enrichment Programmes are running an online virtual careers fair in partnership with Aecom.

Careers in Climate Change will showcase up to 30 national employers across 5 differently themed zones including: Power and natural resources, Climate adaptation, Business and industry, Homes, building and transport and Enabling decarbonisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to be inspired and meet STEM Ambassadors from a wide variety of STEM organisations, as well as giving them the chance to chat live and ask their questions.

“Hear from companies, such as SSE, GE and the National Grid, on how they’re looking to lead the way on issues relating to energy and power, or from World Wildlife Fund who are launching ‘Sustainable Futures’ where young people can be supported to pursue a ‘sustainable career’ even outside typical ‘green jobs’. Stands will also cover cutting edge climate change research being undertaken right now and how young people can ‘Be part of the solution’ with the Environment Agency.”

Aimed at ages 13-18.
