The All About STEM Competition
Welcome to the All About STEM Competition!
Over the last few years, there has been an unprecedented amount of interest in The All About STEM Competition and we have been blown away by the quantity and quality of entries. We can’t wait to see all of your posters and ideas this year, so without further ado, The All About STEM Competition is now OPEN!
The All About STEM Competition invites learners aged 9 – 16 from across the North West of England to design a new product, idea, item, or approach that solves a problem facing our world, or the people in it. This could be a robot home assistant, a support solution for people in need, a sustainable product or a new recycling programme for your school! The options are endless.
We’ve received fantastic ideas in previous years, including a robot that waters your plants, a bin that helps organise waste and a Smart Dummy that helps with MMA training. The Spy-Clip, which helps the wearer in emergency situations, was a brilliant idea from one of our winning teams Wirral Grammar School for Girls!
Why not check out our ‘I made it happen’ cards and previous winner pages to get some inspiration? You can develop your own ideas, starting completely from scratch, letting your imagination run wild or use one of our partner resources to help with your initial ideas.
You can enter the All About STEM Competition as an individual or as part of a group of up to 5 people and we have resources to help parents/guardians/carers/teachers to support you every step of the way including funded* support options courtesy of our amazing Competition Sponsors.
