Learn Live: Green Careers Hour
Green jobs are key to post-pandemic economic recovery and achieving net-zero targets.
On Thursday the 4th of November at 10am, The Careers & Enterprise Company will be supporting a virtual Green Careers Hour with Learn Live UK to help demystify what is meant by “green jobs”.
The hour will feature employers from across the economy that provide “green jobs” (i.e. employment in activity that directly contributes to – or indirectly supports – the achievement of the UK’s net zero emissions target and other environmental goals). The aim will be to explain “green jobs” (both for young people and those advising them) and to inspire students to consider the different pathways and future careers options that they open up, including HE, technical and apprenticeship routes.
Students are able to attend online either live on the day or to access the content through a recording.
