STEM Ambassador & Teacher Resource: Project-Based Learning
STEM Learning has partnered with the British Science Association to create a resource for STEM Ambassadors and teachers to help them support and run effective project-based learning.
Project-based learning is a teaching method that involves students designing and running their own projects based on real-world subjects that interest them. It gives students ownership of their learning and encourages them to develop a range of skills from inquisitive thinking and problem-solving to planning and time management.
The resource for STEM Ambassadors explains how to be an effective project mentor and how to provide mentor support remotely.
The resource for teachers focuses on how to effectively recruit and engage STEM Ambassadors as mentors for learning.
