Allied Health Professions Work Related Learning Programme

Creating Careers On Our Doorstep: Allied Health Professions
Work-Related Learning Programme with Springpod

This on-demand programme will cover everything from an introduction to the different areas of allied health professions to an insight into the distinct roles, responsibilities, and progression opportunities that can be found within each career. Students will have the chance to take part in some great quizzes and amazing activities (developed by LCR NHS staff) and even have the chance to speak to local NHS employees along the way! 

The on-demand modules can be completed at a pace that suits the student/teacher and will be available to access until Friday 15th July 2022. The course takes approximately 10 hours to complete.

  • Wednesday 29th June, 9.30am-10.15am: Operating Department Practitioners
  • Thursday 30th June, 9.30am-10.15am: Paramedics
  • Tuesday 5th July, 9.30am-10.15am: Physiotherapists
  • Wednesday 6th July, 9.30am-10.15am: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiographers
  • Thursday 7th July, 9.30am-10.15am: Getting Career-Ready with Health Education England

There are limited student places so early registration is recommended.
