Date Extended: Mission X – Walk to the Moon Challenge

Mission X is an international educational challenge, focusing on fitness and nutrition, that encourages students to train like an astronaut.

Young people learn the principles of healthy eating and exercise, take part in training modules, and get excited about the world’s future in space and the educational possibilities for their own future.

The date for the Walk to the Moon Challenge has now been extended to the 31st of July 2022!

“Complete the physical and scientific activities from the Mission X activity catalogue, and upload the activities on your account to earn steps. Each step earned helps Luna and Leo walk 384 400km – the distance from Earth to the Moon.”

Mission X includes:

  • Scientific reasoning
  • Teamwork
  • Hands-on training missions
  • Strength, endurance, coordination, balance and spatial awareness
  • Health
  • Space
  • Exercise
  • Science

Mission X is aimed at students aged 8 to 12 but is open to all.
