Resources for STEM Clubs: CREST Awards
Inspire your Science or STEM Club members with amazing CREST Awards projects!
CREST Awards can be run in schools, clubs or at home with young people aged 5-19. CREST is completely flexible – projects can start whenever you want, and learners can take as long as they need.
Encourage your students to become reflective, independent learners through enquiry-based project work.
CREST Star & Superstar: Ages 5 -11 (8 short projects to complete)
CREST Discovery Award: Ages 10-14 (5 hours equivalent / 1 day)
CREST Bronze Award: Age 11+ (10 hours in total)
CREST Silver Award: Age 14+ (30 hours in total)
CREST Gold Award: Age 16+ (70 hours in total)
Alongside their official resources, CREST offers numerous, fun & interactive accredited activities including Plastic Hero, Polar Explorer & VEX Robotics. If you are already completing a STEM project in your club, don’t worry – you could submit that too! Just take a quick look at the project criteria to find out more.

The STEM Clubs Quality Mark
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
