LCR Careers Hub: Aviation Careers – Land & Air
The Liverpool City Region Careers Hub has shared two exciting online events from the Department for Transport for secondary school and college students.
Aviation on the Ground: The People Who Make It Happen
This virtual event introduces secondary school and college students to the essential roles that keep airports and aviation operations running smoothly on the ground, behind the scenes.
Date: 18 June 2025 – 11 am
The Future of Flight: Innovation & Sustainability in Aviation
Students will learn about cutting-edge technologies, such as electric planes and sustainable aviation fuel, and how the industry is working to reduce its environmental impact. Learners will also hear from experts about the skills and careers needed to drive change in this rapidly evolving sector, inspiring them to consider a future in aviation.
