Zoom: Lunch and Learn – Science Capital

Book onto Event

Running 12-1pm. Science Capital is a concept that can help us to understand why some young people have a science identity, seeing science as being ‘for me’ and others do not. The more Science Capital a young person has, the more likely they are to continue with science post-16. This short session will be a whistle-stop tour of the research around the concept of Science Capital and the impact that STEM Ambassadors can have on its acquisition by students and its benefits from the perspective of both teachers and STEM Ambassadors. The session will take place on Zoom.
