IET & IMechE Engineering Education Grants Scheme: Apply Now
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) & Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) have joined forces to introduce a new Engineering Education Grants Scheme. The scheme is open for submissions until the 9th October for projects to run from 1st Jan 2016.
Any organisation capable of developing and delivering UK-based educational activities is eligible to apply, including schools, IET or IMechE members and STEM organisations. The IET and IMechE are particularly keen to receive applications for projects from teams with diverse expertise, a range of skills and from a variety of sectors.
There are two levels of funding available. Awards of up to £5000 (inclusive of any applicable VAT) are available for standard applications to the fund, and up-to-four awards of £15,000 are available each year.
Applications for funding must be endorsed by an authorised representative of the IET or IMechE.
