Science Education Merseyside Masterclasses
Join Science Education Merseyside for a series of Science masterclasses for young people aged 11-14.
Sessions will run from 10am – 12pm on the following dates:
Saturday 19th September 2015 – Biology Masterclass
Saturday 31st October 2015 – Chemistry Masterclass
Saturday 28th November 2015 – Physics Masterclass
SEM Science clubs provide an exciting opportunity for pupils from all over the North West to explore science ideas, teamwork, transferable skills and independent research. Students will have the opportunity to experience the project process; improving their enquiry, problem solving and communication skills.
Each session will focus on a different discipline of Science; Chemistry, Biology and Physics and are staffed by qualified teachers, PGCE students and undergraduate students. Each session will be hosted at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, 41 Greenland Street, Liverpool.
SEM ask that you make a small contribution of £5 per child towards the overall running cost of each session. Financial support is available where required, please contact [email protected] for more information.
If you would like to attend all three sessions you will need to book onto each one.
Parking is available on street outside the building.
Parents are able to wait in the reception area if they would like to.
