Run a Code Club? Want to start one? Join us!

MerseySTEM and Code Club are holding a meet-up at The Mosslands School in Wallasey. The event will be a chance for existing Code Club teachers & volunteers to meet each other, share experiences and hear about Code Club plans as we go into 2016. It will also be an opportunity for STEM Ambassadors & schools without Code Clubs to find out more and ask questions about starting or running a club.

Date: Thursday 12th November 2015 – 4:00 pm

Suitable For: Ambassadors, teachers, Primary schools & Secondary schools

Venue: The Mosslands School Mosslands Drive Wallasey Village CH45 8PJ

Although Code Club is aimed at 8-11 year olds the event will also be of interest to Secondary School teachers as part of their Primary Outreach and to see examples of projects that would work in high school clubs. For those with an attached 6th form/higher education facility there will be a chance to look at how student volunteering in Code Clubs has worked well in other colleges to develop transferable skills for students.

This will be a free, fun session with some short talks and hands-on opportunities.

Refreshments will be provided.
