National Women in Engineering Day (NWED) Webinar

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) have worked together to organise a webinar on 23rd June to celebrate National Women in Engineering Day (NWED).

This webinar is aimed at school students aged between 14-16 years old.

Aims:

To inspire students to become the next generation of engineers

To make students aware that engineering is also a career for women, and of the many opportunities available in the engineering field

To give students the opportunity to ask questions about engineering careers.

The webinar will be a live chat with the speakers about engineering, what engineers do, exciting jobs within engineering, and benefits of being an engineer!
