Enter The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition Online!

As well as showcasing project work at Big Bang Near Me Fairs for judging you can enter a project online. If you didn’t make the finals at The Big Bang North West, you can work on your project further and try again online too!

The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition is open to all 11-18 year olds living in the UK and in full-time education. The Competition aims to recognise and reward young people’s achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The online entry form tries to replicate the experience of being judged at a Near Me Fair and therefore asks a series of questions about your project and encourages the submission of videos or photos to help bring your project to life.

It is recommended that you download the ‘how to’ guides to see what information you need to provide and what questions you are asked to enable you to prepare your submission before you complete the form.

The form does enable you to save and return later, but once you have completed it don’t forget to hit submit to ensure your project goes through for judging.

The deadline for online entry is Monday 20 November 2016. Judging will take place during the end of November and beginning of December and we aim to inform all projects of their outcome w/c 12 December 2016.

Don’t forget to check the eligibility criteria to ensure your project is eligible, projects can have been part of other schemes including EDT, CREST, Nuffield etc.
