IMechE & STEM Learning: Developing effective and sustained school-employer interactions workshop
This event aims to celebrate the involvement of IMechE STEM Ambassadors across the UK.
It will provide STEM Ambassadors with a mixture of updates and discussion sessions, delivered by a range of speakers and including contributions from employers, STEM Ambassadors, IMechE members and the Careers & Enterprise Company.
Saturday 1 July 2017, National STEM Learning Centre, York
STEM Ambassadors will learn about the range of approaches to school-employer interactions and explore the wider narrative for engineering-related STEM Ambassador activities. Workshops will offer attendees the opportunity to both reflect and share good practice whilst also looking ahead and helping to shape the programme of the future.
The event runs from 9am to 3pm. It is free to attend and overnight accommodation is available on Friday 30 June. Assistance may also be given with travelling expenses.
Please note: Only 2nd class rail fare and advance tickets will be covered.
