All About STEM: Teachers discover exciting school projects at Sensor City!
On the 25th of April 2018, All About STEM facilitated a free to attend, teacher networking session at one of Liverpool’s newest & most exciting developments… Sensor City!
Delegates toured the new Sensor City building and attended presentations on upcoming events and projects for students such as the Big Bang @Sensor City on Wednesday 16th May 2018.

Sensor City – Who they are & their upcoming plans for working with schools & business
Liverpool Girl Geeks – Creating positive interventions to inspire girls of all ages into the tech sector
All About STEM – Information on Big Bang North West events, CREST Awards, STEM Ambassadors, Apprenticeships & more
Santander – The Santander Innovation Programme & their work with schools
Plus Dane – The Plus Dane School Challenge & hacking event
Shaping Futures – Collaborating with all partners on a programme of school events
Sensor City is a collaboration between the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University and is a flagship University Enterprise Zone. They enable industry and academic partners in a range of sectors to translate their innovative sensor concepts into commercially viable solutions. They also have exciting plans to begin working with schools.
