All About STEM: Unilever Careers Advice for Parents Event
On the 10th & 17th of October, All About STEM supported Unilever in two Careers Advice for Parents sessions.
The working world is changing and many parents struggle on how to advise their teenagers for the best, many have no difficulty with advice but need information on the options available.
Careers Advice for Parents have the answer with their ‘INSPiRED Teenager’ career coaching programme.
Trained careers specialists led Unilever’s free-to-attend sessions with support from Unilever STEM Ambassadors and other staff.
Themes included skills, strengths, attitudes, talents and types of intelligence and numerous activities promoted self esteem.
There were team building projects too that pitted adults against teens. Both were determined to build the highest tower in the Marshmallow Challenge!
Congratulations to Unilever on two fantastic, fun & informative evenings and thank you to the amazing parents & children keen to learn more about their future options.
