CREST Funding: CREST in the Curriculum
CREST are offering CREST funding and a small incentive to enable schools and colleges to run CREST during class time.
In total, they are looking for ten secondary schools or colleges to trial the delivery of CREST during curriculum time during the academic year 2019-2020. In return they ask that that you complete an evaluation of the programme.
To apply, you can complete a form to express your interest.
Criteria:
– State funded non-selective secondary school or college in the UK
– Able to commit to delivering CREST entirely during curriculum time for at least one class between September 2019 and July 2020.
Priorities:
CREST are particularly interested in working with students aged 16 or over but will also be looking to trial some KS3 and KS4 groups. When selecting schools they will look for a balance of school types, student groups and indication of commitment to completing the programme. They will also need to select schools in close proximity to each other to support teachers on the programme
CREST will email all those expressing an interest, providing further details of the project and will aim to confirm participating schools by Friday 28 June.
Incentives:
CREST will cover all CREST Award fees and provide a £300 incentive to schools who fully participate in the delivery and evaluation of the programme.
