STEM Clubs: CREST Projects – Ages 5-19
If you’re looking for inspiration for your science or STEM club, we have plenty of resource recommendations for you below along with exciting projects from CREST. They’re fantastic for home or school learning, in-person or online!
CREST helps young people aged 5-19 to become independent and reflective learners through enquiry-based project work.
CREST Awards are flexible, can be run in schools, clubs or at home and have no set timetable. Projects can start whenever you want and take as long as you need – perfect during these unprecedented times.
CREST Primary: Star & Superstar
CREST Bronze Award: 10 hours in total
CREST Silver Award: 30 hours in total
CREST Gold Award: 70 hours in total
CREST Discovery: Can be completed in a day
CREST can be used in conjunction with other activities and schemes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Extended Project Qualifications (EPQs) and the Big UK Bang Competition.
If you are already completing a STEM project, there’s a high chance there’s a CREST Award for it. If you’re looking to start a project and need inspiration, look no further!
