CREST Awards: Making an Impact

The latest CREST Awards impact report, released by the British Science Association, reveals the ways in which CREST has boosted science engagement opportunities for students, teachers and employers across the UK.

“During this time, CREST participation rates soared. More than 56,000 students – double the previous academic year – across 1,129 UK schools submitted CREST Awards, completing more than half a million hours on STEM projects and activities.”

CREST Awards inspire young people aged 5-19 to think like real scientists and engineers. They can be run in schools, clubs or at home and are completely flexible. Projects can start whenever you want, and learners can take as long as they need.

As North West Regional CREST Support OrganisationAll About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
