Earn CREST Awards with our Programmes!
Do you know that your learners can put the work they complete on our programmes towards CREST Awards?
If your students have participated in one of the following programmes (or will be in the future), they can choose to submit their work for a CREST Award or towards a CREST Award.
You don’t have to be part of a programme to earn awards (even though they’re great!). You can submit any student project (that fits the criteria) towards a CREST Award or use CREST’s amazing resources to guide your class.
CREST & Our Programmes
IET Faraday Challenge Days
We are your IET Regional Delivery Partner for Merseyside, Cheshire & Warrington. IET Faraday Challenge Days allow students to research, design & make prototype solutions to tough engineering problems.
When your class completes their IET Faraday Challenge Day, they can earn a CREST Award too!
The top IET school teams from across the UK get an all-expenses paid trip to the National Final to compete for a cash prize of up to £1,000 for their school.
Applications are now open for schools to apply for the 2025/26 season.
Take a look at some fantastic feedback about the programme.
Unilever Bright Future
For the last decade, we are proud to have partnered with Unilever to facilitate the Bright Future Programme.
Students attend a two-day STEM Showcase where Unilever experts host various Bright Future workshops including formulation, packaging, recycling, digital technology, consumer technical insight and total product design. Following the showcase, all attending pupils can take Unilever’s challenge to design their own environmentally friendly/sustainable product and return for judging three months later at the Unilever Bright Future Celebration & Awards Day.
By completing the Unilever Bright Future Programme, students qualify for a CREST Discovery Award.
We have just completed Bright Future 24/25 – keep an eye on our website or social channels for the launch of Unilever Bright Future 25/26!

The All About STEM Competition
Learners entering The All About STEM Competition can spotlight their STEM skills, innovation and creativity! It’s a fun, engaging poster competition that challenges students (9-16) across the north west to design a new product, idea, item, or approach that solves a problem facing our world, or the people in it.
We recommend CREST Awards resources on our competition microsite because they provide inspiration and ideas if your pupils need a starting point. Real-world challenges, ergonomics, artificial intelligence, sustainability, clean growth – there are so many subjects to choose from!
After entering the competition, learners can choose to submit their poster and research towards a CREST Award (subject to criteria).

CREST Levels
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About Futures promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
