Get Coding with The Voice UK!

To celebrate British Science Week the BBC is at The Big Bang Fair bringing coding to life with The Voice UK themed Live Lesson on Computer Science for 11- 14 year olds.

‘The Voice UK – Make it Digital – Live lesson’ will be 45 minutes long and will be webcast live on Friday 13th March at 11am!

(Details will be available on the BBC website on the 2nd of March about how your students can get the most out of the lesson).

The session is designed to inspire 11- 14 year olds to get creative with coding and covers key curriculum concepts.

Including   – Algorithms, Sequencing, Iteration, Selection, Coding and Computational thinking.

Main Learning outcome:

  • To encourage an understanding of what code is and how integral it has become in the media
  • To inspire 11-14 year olds to have a go at coding
  • To inspire 11-14 year olds with the future of coding & computing technology
