Event: Chemistry at Work Days – Book Now!
Chemistry at Work Days are back! We have three dates for you over the next three months at Daresbury Laboratory, don’t miss out!
‘Chemistry at Work’ is a full day event consisting of sessions & workshops, run by local employers & organisations, where students are able to see how the chemistry studied at school is put into use in the ‘real’ world.
There is a mix of hands-on activities, challenges & inspiring talks through the day.
Events are FREE of charge, although lunch is not provided! Both staff & students will need to bring packed lunches. You can book a group of ten students to attend our host venue, Daresbury Laboratory.
The day runs from 9.45am – 3.00pm and is suitable for state-funded secondary schools.
Dates available:
Wednesday 21st October 2015 – 9:45 am
Wednesday 11th November 2015 – 9:45 am
Thursday 03rd December 2015 – 9:45 am
Sessions are aimed at Year 9, though there is scope for other age ranges – please contact us to discuss this.
