National Science + Engineering Competition: St Julie’s win BAE Systems Inspired Work Prize!
After qualifying for the National Science + Engineering Competition finals at The Big Bang North West, St Julie’s Catholic High School won the coveted BAE Systems Inspired Work Prize at the National Big Bang Fair!
This prize recognises the project that demonstrates the key qualities of motivation, influence, partnerships, communication and trust. The team received a certificate and a prize, including an exciting VIP experience day at the Farnborough air show.
Their Teacher Miss Peers, was so proud of the team and how excellently they portrayed their ideas and all of the Science behind their project.
After qualifying at The Big Bang North West 2014, St. Julie’s were also invited to The Big Bang @ Parliament with MerseySTEM’s Managing Director Michelle Dow to showcase their amazing project to guests and MP’s.
What an amazing year it’s been! Congratulations to St. Julie’s Catholic High School from Team MerseySTEM.
