Biology Week 2016: Saturday 8th – Sunday 16th October!
Biology Week is an annual celebration of life science with events all over the UK and beyond for everyone from children to professional scientists. It is a great opportunity to share your passion for biology as part of the biggest week in the life sciences calendar, now in its fifth year!
Biology Week 2016 will run from Saturday 8th – Sunday 16th October inclusive.
Events get more diverse every year; science festivals, Big Biology Days, dino digs, competitions, lectures, fungal forays, music and storytelling; anyone can get involved!
Schools, colleges and universities can all play their part. There are Biology Week quizzes to put your knowledge to the test, you could compete in the bio-bake off, hold an Insect Poll, get creative with a BioArtAttack, go on a bioblitz, try out some kitchenscience, attend a local event, or have a STEM speaker come to your school.
