Secondary Schools Wanted: Take part in the Maths in Context project!

Young Enterprise are currently recruiting secondary schools to take part in their exciting Maths in Context project!

The aim is to explore whether teaching young people maths in a ‘real world’ financial context can improve attainment at maths GCSE level, as well as students’ ability to manage money more effectively.

Young Enterprise are holding a free event in Liverpool on Thursday 30th of March, for schools to find out some more information about the project. Speakers from the University of Nottingham and Young Enterprise will talk about the project, what it involves and answer any questions. It’s also a chance for participating and interested schools to connect with each other.

Schools can register for free tickets here…

The Maths in Context project is the result of a partnership between Young Enterprise, the Education Endowment Foundation and Money Advice Service, with an evaluation led by the University of Nottingham.
