Key Stage 2-4 Case Study: Do you use 3D printers?

STEM Ambassador Grant Mackenzie, is looking to create case studies on 3D printers being used in KS2 – KS4.

“The reasons for gathering this information is two fold. The first is to help inform a STEM article I’m writing on the subject of how 3D printers encourage creativity in classrooms and facilitate iterative design to accelerate product innovation. The second is to increase the number of best practice examples shared in a corporate sponsorship proposal I’m putting together to fully integrate 3D Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing learning.

I’m looking for examples of 3D printers being used in KS2 – KS4 to aid with iterative design. It’d be especially good to find examples of 3D printers being used in conjunction with Raspberry Pi, micro:bit or Arduido hardware.”

Email Grant here for further information and to get involved.
