All About STEM & Cyber Prevent Police: Cyber Safety Resources

All About STEM are working with the Cyber Prevent Police Team to spread the word on Cyber Safety. 

Did you know that the average age of a person who commits a crime is 35?
Did you know that the average age of a person who commits a cybercrime is just 17?

The Cyber Prevent police team are a new part of the North West Regional Crime Unit. They work with partners including the education sector to deliver and develop National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) priorities. The team provide early intervention and positive diversions for people on the cusp of cybercrime (e.g. hacking).

They attend public events to raise awareness of the Computer Misuse Act and the possible consequences of being involved in cybercrime. The team also work with schools to promote positive use of cyber skills within the cyber security industry.
